Show Me 65 is a small team on purpose. When you call, you get a licensed advisor who lives and works in the same communities you do. Depending on where you live and what you need, you'll work with Scott or Jake - and whoever you start with is who you'll have from then on. Together, our advisors have helped more than 3,500 people across the Metro make sense of their Medicare options.
Scott Joyce
FOUNDER
Scott Joyce learned Medicare from the inside - working for an insurance company before going independent so he could show clients every plan, not just one. He founded Show Me 65 to do it his way, and fifteen years in, he still carries his own book: the same advisor in year one and in year ten, with clients who've been with him since 2012. Scott works with clients in Belleville, O'Fallon, Troy, Florissant, Webster Groves, and St. Louis itself. Outside of work, Scott is raising a five-year-old with his wife, traveling whenever they can manage it, and losing golf balls two fairways over from where he intended to be.

Jake Buhs
MEDICARE ADVISOR
Jake Buhs has spent six years helping people work through Medicare, and has built a client base on both sides of the river. He works with folks in Alton, Edwardsville, Collinsville, Kirkwood, and Maryland Heights - whether it's a first enrollment at 65 or a plan review after years on the same coverage. His approach is to slow the conversation down, explain what each option actually means, and give people room to take their time deciding. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two young boys, and cheering on the Cardinals and Blues.
